Hi. I'm Paige.
How to write an About Me? I'm a Portlander originally from San Francisco. I learned my aesthetic by studying art, poetry, and living in Perugia, Italy for three years. I worked at a design firm as a copywriter for two. I consider photography... the Opera of the Soul.
I'm a treasure hunter, and Composition, Form and Color are my guides. The only time when I feel truly in the aesthetic moment and like right now is the sublime manna of life is while photographing. I realize, while capturing photos, that I'm lost in that one reason why it feels so good to be alive.
My ultimate goal is to deliver beauty, also called Modern Classicism, or a visual poem, or an "Ah" moment created with light.
Another note... I think that photography is all about relationship and connection. I'm like another friend at your wedding, playing with the kids, or who's there for the important moments. With me, you know you have someone you can count on, either for the first kiss, or for the first breath. XOX
